This Week...

Thank you to all of our winners that came out to the Crystal Creations Bead Institute this past Saturday...We all had a great time, and I think some of us have found a new hobby! Lunch was great too, and it was really nice spending time with everyone. I will have the pictures soon!

This week I have two animals from the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League to tell you about, and they are both adorable!

Whisky is a 4 year old male Labrador retriever mix. He came to the shelter as a stray. (ID# A124438)

Stacy is a 4 year old female grey and white domestic shorthair cat. (ID# A118908)

The League is having an adoptathon this weekend, and I will be there on Sunday from Noon til Two on Sunday...Come out and bring home some unconditional love! If you need directions, please email me at wirkmeg@hotmail.com

Here is my weekly Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League animal that needs a home!

Maggie is a 3 1/2 year old female Irish Wolfhound mix. She is spayed,
housebroken and weighs 75 pounds. Maggie is great with kids and other dogs.

Peggy Adams is having the last Dog Days of Summer at Roger Dean Stadium this Saturday night August 19th. Take your dog to see a minor league ball game. Tickets are available for free at the Animal Rescue League, or at the door for a small fee, and four legged freinds are only a buck!

Don't forget the adoptathon is next weekend the 26 and 27th of August from 10am til 4pm, and I wil be there on Sunday from 2-4pm!

This weekend is going to be a blast!

Brad Paisley and other stuff

What a show!!
We got to interview Brad on the bus, and as usual he was so nice, and down to earth. I have put some pictures from the show up here...
This week we auctioned off Shaq's autographed jersey for JD's Sneakers for students, and got $3500 for it!! The money all goes to the charity, and I am sure will buy a bunch of shoes for kids that need them. Bill comes back from vacation on Wednesday...not a day too soon for me!
I am starting to post a weekly picture and description of a dog or cat that needs a home from the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue league...

Spot is a 2 year old female Labroador Retriever/Dogo Argentino mix. She is spayed and weighs 37 pounds. Spot is a very active dog that loves going for walks and playing in a fenced-in yard. She is housebroken and very loving. (ID# A123642).
