Jefferey Steele

Here is the news about Songwriter Jefferey Steele's son:

Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family during this sad time.

You may not have heard of Jeffrey Steele, but you've heard his songs. Steele's songwriting credits include Montgomery Gentry's "My Town," Tim McGraw's "The Cowboy in Me," Diamond Rio's "Unbelievable," Faith Hill's "When the Lights Go Down," Trace Adkins' "Chrome," LeAnn Rimes' "Big Deal" and Steve Holy's "Brand New Girlfriend" and Rascal Flatts' "My Wish," "These Days" and "What Hurts the Most." Jeffrey's 13-year-old son was killed Sunday (Jan. 28) in Franklin, Tenn., when the youth lost control of an all-terrain vehicle he was driving. Police said Alex Levasseur was thrown from the vehicle while attempting to steer through a curve in the road. *** Cards and letters can be sent to P.O. Box 214, Franklin, TN 37065.
